08-09 Season Auditions!
The Windjammers are looking for you to join our teams for the coming season. We are proud to offer a highly successful and fun environment with a commitment to strong athletic competition in a "real-world" focus. We offer a full season of events including 5-6 competitions, exhibitions and a spring ice show. Practices are regular and published at the beginning of the season for your convenience in planning. Skaters are welcome to join our teams while continuing to take individual workouts/lessons at their different home clubs.
Forms for clinics and auditions will be available during ice show time at the rink, and will also be mailed or emailed to current team members. Skaters from other areas may contact us through the above email link and we'll happily get the info to you. When ready, a forms link will be set up.
CLINICS: We offer two clinics to help newer skaters prepare for the audition process. Skill lists will be provided for practice.
May 10, 2008 - 10:00-11:00am: Clinic for new to synchro skaters
May 12, 2008 - 4:30-5:30pm: Clinic for new skaters plus returning team members who have passed Pre-Juvenile Moves or less
May 19, 2008 - AUDITIONS
5:00-6:00pm: New to synchro skaters, returning team members with Pre-Juv Moves or less and skaters aged under 13 with Juv Moves* and higher. *also see below group
6:15-7:15pm: Skaters who have passed Juvenile Moves or higher all ages. (Yes, if you are under 13 and have Juv moves please plan to attend both hours)
Returning Junior Team members will be permitted to sign notice of intent to return and skip the auditions. Thanks for a great season. See you next year.
